The congressional office of Rep. Bill Posey, R-Rockledge, has been awarded a “Bronze Mouse Award” for its website (www.posey.house.gov).

The award is given by the Congressional Management Foundation, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Congress and its members meet the evolving needs and expectations of a 21st century citizenry.

“Our website is meant to be a one-stop-shop so folks can keep up with what’s going on here in Congress. You can see videos of my floor speeches and line of questioning in committee hearings, read legislation I’ve cosponsored, sign-up for my email newsletters and even follow me on Twitter. “

Posey was also awarded the Constituent Service Award from National Write Your Congressman, a non-partisan organization that encourages Americans to communicate directly with their elected officials to express their views on important issues.
