National Rifle Association Endorses Posey

Melbourne, FL – The National Rifle Association Political Victory Fund (NRA-PVF) has endorsed Bill Posey in the Republican primary for U.S. Representative.  Senator Posey is running to fill Florida’s 15th Congressional District seat, which is being left open by the retiring Dave Weldon.

According to the NRA-PVF, as a member of the Florida Senate and House of Representatives, Bill Posey has demonstrated a proven commitment to the defense of our Second Amendment rights and hunting heritage through his votes and support for many state pro-gun reforms during his tenure in office.

“While our 2nd Amendment rights enjoyed a major victory this summer when the Supreme Court struck down the Washington, D.C. gun ban, the fight is not over,” said Senator Posey.  “The liberal left will continue to attack our constitutional right to bear arms.  If elected to Congress, I will continue to be an advocate for gun owners and their rights, just as I have done in the Florida House and Senate.”

The NRA-PVF urges all NRA members and other gun owners and sportsmen in Florida’s 15th Congressional District to vote for Bill Posey in the Republican primary election on August 26th.
