Dedication of State Road 60 as Stan Mayfield Memorial Highway is Nov. 12 in Indian River County

VERO BEACH—The Florida Legislative Delegation of Indian River County will celebrate the dedication of State Road 60 as the Stan Mayfield Memorial Highway on Nov. 12, Florida Department of Transportation officials said.
A dedication ceremony will be held at the beginning of the dedicated roadway, approximately ½ mile west of Interstate 95, starting at 10 a.m. Dignitaries expected to attend are U.S. Rep. Bill Posey, R-Rockledge; former Senate President Ken Pruitt; state Rep. Debbie Mayfield, R-Vero Beach; state Sen. Joe Negron, R- Stuart; and FDOT Secretary Stephanie Kopelousos.
Anthony Donadio, who presented a resolution for a local bill in support of the designation that was signed into law on July 1, called Stan Mayfield “a great problem solver and tireless advocate for our community” who has “earned a place in local history.”
